Porpoise watching with the Øresund Aquarium - day tour

Do you also want to go out on the Øresund and see Denmark's smallest whale - the porpoise? Then take the Øresund Aquarium on a porpoise safari, and get very close to the little whale that thrives in the Øresund. We sail out in the large rubber boat of the Øresund Aquarium and head for the northern part of the Øresund, where the porpoises are especially located. We are accompanied by the Øresund Aquarium guides who will tell about the exciting life of the little whale in the Øresund.

The population of porpoises has multiplied over the last 20-30 years and they thrive in the Øresund, where there is plenty of food for the small whales. On the Øresund Aquarium tours in 2019 we saw porpoises on all our trips, so even though we do not provide a "porpoise guarantee", the opportunities to see porpoises on the trips are thus quite good.

Prices: Day tours - Children 6-11 years DKK 390, adults DKK 440. - icluding fee DKK 10. There is also free admission on the day and the day after at the aquarium.

Remember clothing to suit the weather and remember that it can feel cold on the water, even on a hot summer day..

The Øresund Aquarium delivers life jackets before departure. For safety reasons it is not allowed to use private life jackets.

Boat and crew are approved by the Danish Maritime Authority for max. 12 passengers. Persons under 15 must be accompanied by adults. Children under 6 years of age may not be included in the tour due to the length of the trip and safety. We recommend that pregnant women who have less than 4 weeks to term do not attend the trip for safety reasons. Hot cocoa and coffee are served on board and there is free admission to the aquarium during the day.

If the weather does not permit safe sailing, the trip is cancelled. The captain decides whether a trip is cancelled or shortened due to weather conditions.

We meet at the entrance to the Øresund Aquarium. The skipper receives you and we then proceed and put on life jackets. The trip lasts approx. 1.5 hours.
