Description
Tuna Safari with the Øresund Aquarium
Join the Øresund Aquarium on a boat trip on Øresund and experience the big tuna, which has returned to Øresund the last couple of years.
The Øresund Aquarium’s big RIB boat departs from Elsinore. We look for tuna while guides from the Øresund Aquarium tell about the tuna and its history in Øresund. We probably also see Denmark’s small whale, the harbour porpoise.
We serve hot cocoa and coffee on board and there is free admission to the aquarium during the day.
There is free entrance to the aquarium on the day of the trip.
Prices: Children 6-11 years DKK 420, adults DKK 470 - including fee DKK 10. There is also free admission on the day and the day after at the aquarium.
Practical information
Boat and crew are approved by the Danish Maritime Authority for max. 12 passengers. Persons under 15 must be accompanied by adults. Children under 6 years of age will not be included in the tour due to the length of the trip and safety. We recommend that pregnant women who have less than 4 weeks to term do not attend the trip for safety reasons.
We meet at the Øresund Aquarium’s main entrance where the captain bids you welcome. We then proceed to the area behind the aquarium to put on life wests and then walk to the boat.
The actual boat trip takes approximately 1,5 hours.
Cancellations
If the weather does not permit safe sailing, the trip is cancelled. The captain decides whether a trip is cancelled or shortened due to weather conditions.
If we have to cancel the trip you will get your tickets refunded.
